SPANISH CUP POZO IZQUIERDO 2009

Im sorry that i dindt upload my blog with the final event results i was waiting for some good pictures and now i got them.
Well,contest was pretty good excelent training for the world cup,conditions the first day was the best i was with my 3'7 mission x and 69lt fanatic twin all day long ,good size wave and good wind competition was 10min heat 2 waves 3 diferents jumps,,, i was feeling very confident and i could make it all the way to the final on the way i meet unknow, Aleix,Dario,etc sorprise was my brother ele he also could make it into the final beating koster in semifinal soo final was my brother agains me but i make it,was nice.
Second day was not that good as the first day it was wind drops a littlel bit and the wave were even smaller than the day before but they could finish all the doble elimination i just was waiting at the beach for my heat all day long finally end of the day my heat start,, koster could make it into the final and i was very unlucky to find good waves and loose twice,very unlucky but i have to say that phillip it was ripping really hard ,,congrats phillip, very good sailing¡¡¡

Im back from hawaii and i was in perfect timing to enjoy the spanish cup in pozo organiced by secondreef,,today we start with the incripcions and in the afternoon we did start the contest and we could fininsh all the single elimination,,for me was great i think it couldnt be better i got the first place,jeje, but best of it it was that my brother ele make it all the way into the final and we were together in the final was cool¡¡congratulations ele for you 2nd place well done,,,hopefully tomorrow we finish the doble elimination and hope to be on the line again,,,thanks daniel miquel for the pictures...

MAUI,, UNLUCKY BUT VERY LUCKY

After long trip and soo many hours flying around i finally made it,,again in maui for Fanatic and Simmer photoshoot but this year it have been not the best for me,,first day in the water and i got this,,,,i had a very bad wape out and i dont know how come but the board hit me face straight the way and i got cut by the fin of my board right in the neck,very lucky that it was not to much it would been very wors,, but wors thing about it was when i went to Hospital with alex musoo and the doctor in urgency tell us to wait at least 3 or 4 hours to get in we were like what¡¡¡¡I just decided to go to safeway to buy the nesesary things to clean the cut and fix it,,,better than be waiting 4 hours in urgency,now i feel much better and it looks ok ,,,,hopefully tomorrow i go to the water again.

NO WIND AND CRUISING

Hello friends,,
Not much going on in pozo no wind not waves and weather has been really hot after long cool winter,,,here couple pictures cruising with my quad when is nothing to do it is really fun to do your own route.

FUERTEVENTURA WAVE CLASSIC 2009

For me has been a really good competition and for sure a very good training also,we score the biggest swell of the year,,it was just huge,for me it was very dangerous spot,, not beach to get out,,to get out i have to jump from the rocks and it was very small bay with really heavy wave braiking in the middle of the channel very shalow and very dificult,I was scary because it was looking not that good as i thought and it was even more dangerous as i thought,,i mean the wave was good bu tnot the spot it is very easy it heart yourself but with the help of jetsky it was a bit easier to be out there ,,but still scary,anyway for me it was a very good experience and contest time was great not injuries we could make two rounds with really good conditions my team got 2º place,,WELL DONE PORCELLA AND WILL,, but the bes of it is all of us we have had a lot of fun,, just hope next year will be even better.From here just thanks all the organicers,riders,etc,, and I hope to see you next year.
